Smarty Pants

A couple weeks ago, Cole really started getting interested in his wooden puzzle. He was able to match the correct animal, but just the other day he started turning the animals and fitting them into the correct place. I have no idea if this is normal for a 16 month old or not, but we're of course pretty impressed.

Gymboree Update

Cole was moved up to the next level class in Gymboree. We went on Saturday and he was the youngest in the class, but he was participating, talking, and running around more than any of the other kids. I was sweating by the end of the 45 minutes! We love his teacher so much and we're really going to miss her. She's so much fun and she loves Cole.
These are just some random 16 month pictures. Oh, and I should add that Cole is obsessed with belly buttons and the picture where he's showing his bellybutton reminded me that in Gymboree this week he went around and asked to see everyone's bellybuttons. That was interesting.

Portland

Before our house hunting trip to Honolulu, we made a very quick stop to visit our friends, Sarah, Jesse & Owen and Auntie Katie. We were only there for a day, but we had lots of fun with the Altig's, like we always do!
